Denny’s Blackened Salmon

It all starts with the perfect cast!

Denny Rauen says cooking fish correctly is as important as catching them. He created a recipe for salmon and walleye and shared it with us.

Ingredients: Salmon/Walleye, Olive Oil, Bread Crumbs, Vinegar, Cayenne Red Pepper, Water, Sea Salt, Black Pepper

Mix cayenne red pepper, vinegar and water to make marinade. Roll fish in marinate and then in bread crumbs. Sear fish in pan covered in olive oil to 125 or 130 degrees. Sprinkle fish with sea salt and black pepper. Serve with a sprig of basil – enjoy!
